What should friends and family be serving?

At first it can be hard for your friends and family to know what they can serve you if you are gluten intolerant. Here are a few useful tips which will make it much easier for those who would like to offer gluten free snack meal, cake or dinner:

  1. Remember that your working surface and all utensils must be cleaned before you start baking or cooking gluten free.
  2. Keep in mind to use gluten free products when battering food items or lining baking forms.
  3. Also remember to use gluten free flour when preparing sauces/gravy.
  4. There is no need to complicate things beforehand. Stick to your original recipe and if you find ingredients that normally contain gluten (e.g. wheat flour) you can basically always replace that ingredient with a gluten free alternative with no noticeable difference at all.
