Oatmeal Buns with Raisins and Sunflower Seeds

Ingredients

  • 5,5 dl milk
  • 2 msk Finax Psyllium
  • 4 dl oat flakes (gluten free)
  • 50 g yeast
  • 2 dl raisins
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp dark syrup
  • 0,5 dl pumpkin seeds
  • 500 g (ca 8 dl) Finax Glutenfri Mjölmix, save cca 30 g (0,5 dl) for baking
  • To garnish: e.g. oat flakes (gluten free) or pumpkin seeds

Oatmeal Buns with Raisins and Sunflower Seeds

Delicious and healthy at the same time! Yields about 8 rolls.

THIS IS HOW YOU DO:

  1. Heat the milk to luke warm (37°C) and mix in Finax Psyllium. Leave to cool for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and work the dough by machine with dough hooks for about 5 minutes.
  3. Spread flour on the table surface and pour out the dough.
  4. Shape the dough to a log that is about 7 cm thick and separate the dough into 8 pieces.
  5. Place the rolls on a baking tray with baking sheet, then brush or spray with water before sprinkling with flakes or pumpkin seeds if you like.
  6. Leave the rolls to rise for about 45 minutes.
  7. Brush or spray with water again immediately before baking for 10-12 minutes at 225°C in the middle of the oven.
  8. After baking leave the rolls to cool on a grill without baking sheet.
